Polyimide heater (Kapton foil heater) is available in a variety of shapes, sizes, and wattages, it is a clear amber colored polyimide film. The process for making flexible heating film is similar to that of Etched Foil Silicone heaters. It is a high-temperature flexible heating element with excellent dielectric properties capable of operating environments between -185 degree celsius to 180 degree Celsius.
The polyimide heater is very thin, the thickness is about 0.2mm, it is very light, so the heater is very ideal for applications with space and weight limitation.
Pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing surface is standard, but special adhesives or mounting holes can be customized as customer requirement.
